Twinkl appoints new Chief Education Officer to shape educational strategy

Twinkl, a leading provider of educational resources, has appointed Stuart Parker-Tyreman as its Chief Education Officer.

With a career spanning over 20 years across schools, trusts, and SEND provision, Stuart will lead the company’s education strategy, ensuring its work remains closely aligned with classroom realities and sector priorities.

This appointment is a key step in Twinkl’s commitment to combining pedagogical excellence with scalable innovation, supporting teachers and learners across the UK and beyond.

Jon Seaton, Twinkl’s CEO and Founder said: “We’re focused on building tools and content that truly serve educators — and that means listening, learning, and leading with purpose. Stuart brings a wealth of experience and credibility, and I’m thrilled that he’s joining Twinkl at such a pivotal moment.”

Stuart says of his appointment: “As someone who’s worked in and with schools for many years, I was drawn to Twinkl’s ambition to lead, facilitate and support a better learning experience for all. There’s a clear commitment to educators, families, and learners around the world, and the chance to shape education at this scale was both hugely appealing and incredibly motivating.”

He continued: “Used well, technology is a powerful enabler for teachers and parents, from home to classroom and beyond. EdTech will play a key role in supporting and identifying complex learner needs and achieving a personalised learning experience, but we have to start from pedagogy, not product. Technology should serve practitioners — not the other way around. That’s a principle I will be championing in my role at Twinkl.”
